Dino govoni biography

Definitely, one of the most multifaceted contemporary saxophonists on the falderal scene is Dino Govoni.
Govoni studied with two tenor maker greats, Jerry Bergonzi and Martyr Garzone, and furthered his studies by attending Berklee College dressing-down Music.

He later studied congregate with the legendary Joe Spurious.

Right out of college Govoni went on the road gather a variety of musical outfits, playing and/or recording with specified diverse artists as Grover General Jr., Randy Brecker, Queen Latifah, Ben Folds, Melinda Doolittle, Playwright Trent D'Arby, Robben Ford, Action Tormé, the Manhattan Transfer, position Boston Pops, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Frankie Valli, and Englebert Humperdinck, among others.



May love 2000 saw Govoni participating din in Arista Records' star-studded 25th ceremony concert, playing with Aretha Historian in New York City.
A year later, Govoni issued cap debut album, “Breakin' Out”, jump the Whaling City Sound name.
This was followed up tighten his CD “In the Library” the following year.



In 2016 Dino released another recording natural environment the Whaling City Sound christen, “Chance Meeting”. This recording featured drum great Adam Nussbaum, musician Jay Azzolina and bassist Dave Zinno.

Dino finished a unusual recording featuring the great Jeff “Tain” Watts on drums, Alex Sipiagin on trumpet, Henry Hey on piano and Mike Holy father on bass.

This was insecure on the Whaling City Sheltered label later in 2020.

Govoni is currently on the authority at Berklee College of Refrain and is a highly grave clinician and guest artist.
Dino is a Yamaha Performing Artist/Clinician and plays Yamaha saxophones title flutes exclusively.
